Rio de Janeiro is the second most populous city in Brazil, and was formerly the country's capital. It is known for landmarks like Christ the Redeemer statue, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Some of Rio's most visited tourist attractions include Isla Grande with its 365 smaller islands full of marine life, and districts like Copacabana, Ipanema, Flamengo, Leblon and Botafogo. Important sites also include the Arcos da Lapa aqueduct, the pyramid-shaped Catedral Metropolitana de São Sebastião, and the colorful Escadaria Selarón stairs.

Janerio. It is the second city more populated of
Brazil. Some time ago, it was the capital of the
country. Considered as one of the most visited
places of people from South America. It is
widely known for the Cristo Redentor statue,
and the Pan de Azúcar, the extraordinaire
beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, the
Nacional park of Tijuca, the Maracaná stadium,
its famous and ostentatious carnivals, its
characteristic dance moves and the Samba.

 Isla Grande is one of the most visited places from
Brasil, it was founded by three kings, and the
statues of the three of them are located in Angra
Tres Reis city and it has 365 smaller islands inside,
full of marine life.

Ipanema, Flamengo, Leblon and Botafogo.
 It is placed in the occidental zone of Bahía de
Guanabara. The land where it is located it’s planed
bordaded of hills and mountains.
 One of the most important places of Rio, is the
Arcos of Lapa, which were used to transport the
water in the war.

 We can also find the Catedral de Rio, which has
sculptures around of Cristh Redenter, Papa Juan
Pablo II and Madre Teresa de Calcuta, and it is
75 meters of alture and it looks like a piramid
which is the most llamative thing about the
church.
 Other important place of Rio, is the stares of
Celerón, they are located in a neighborhood
called Santa Terecita, and it is llamative because
of its multiple colors.
