Piusi Budget Fleet Management (The Original basic)
1. Piusi Budget Fleet Management (The Original basic)
Points of note about this system
Software (1440) to be Installed on local PC – Must be Window 7 or older. (Newer versions of
Windows are NOT compatible)
Software cannot be installed on a server
No annual licence fee is charged for software
Software comes with a Red Managers Tag, 10 User Tags and a Manager Key Reader for data
transfer to the PC
Software CD can be used over and over again to install onto other PCs.
One PC with the software can run up to 16 bowser units.
Software is visible on the screen as follows:
Software navigation with export or email tools as follows:
Software reporting can be manually drilled into. See here for details.
Tags are always purchased in a pack on 10 (124950) and are programmed out on the bowser,
not on the PC
Tags are designed to be used as User (Driver) tags. You can however utilise the tags as Vehicle
tags. Have a look at the Pro’s & Con’s of the 2 options here.
Single entry system – Not very secure – In other words there are no checks to make sure staff
put the correct Vehicle Reg number or Odometer reading in. The system will accept any
information. Eg. If a “fuel theif” finds a tag lying around, they could go to the unit, present the
tag, the system will say “Good Morning XYZ(the person who the tag belongs to). The system will
as for Vehicle Registration(this can be disabled by management by the way), if the “fuel thief”
put in ANY information here, the system will just accept it. The system will then request a
Odometer reading (this can be disabled by management by the way),. If the “fuel thief” puts in
ANY information here, the pump will turn on for him.
This system is generally used in situations where theft is not an issue.
The next pages show the various models and equipment incorporated in this range.

unit is kept outside the Zone 1 hazardous area – 9 Metres from the petrol pump and pulse meter.
The items below relate to Diesel – for compliant petrol pumps and pulse meters please call me on 1800

Other Items needed to complete system (Excludes hoses and nozzle):
1. Pump
The beauty of the MCBOX is that you can pick your own pump with the flow rate you require.
The above 2 bowser options restrict the flow rate to their relative capacities 70LPM and 90LPM.
Remember to choose an appropriate pulse meter that can handle the flow rate of the pump you
choose.
Here are 240Volt pump options:
i) 70LPM Pump for Diesel – P72
ii) 100LPM Pump for Diesel – E120
iii) 165LPM Pump for Diesel – TP421-165
iv) 200LPM Pump for Diesel – TP855-200
2. Pulse Meter
A pulse meter is to be fitted to the discharge of the pump, preferably after a filter, but before
the fuel enters the actual delivery hose.
depending on flow rate:
i) EQ25P-P – 1” Pulse Flow Meter 10 - 150LPM
ii) EQ40P-P - 1½” Pulse Flow Meter 15 – 250LPM
iii) EQ50P-P – 2” Pulse Flow Meter 30 – 450LPM
3. Nozzle Holster Switch
A nozzle holster switch is what communicates to the beginning and conclusion of a transaction
(fuel fill up). The Fleet Management System uses this signal to terminate power to the pump
and reset the system ready for the next transaction.
So you will require:
i) ANH-S – Aluminium Nozzle Holster
This comes as a flush mount nozzle holster and you will need to build it into some sort of
enclosure or side of an electrical box perhaps. Equipco offer the service of building and
supplying this nozzle holster all fitted up in a small enclosure, but this is at additional charge.
4. Filtration
In these type of systems, it is industry practice to use a fuel filter. This protects the pulse meter
and pump
i) 2 Micron Water Block – Item Code EFHD-1502W-25
