ggles with OCD falls in love for the first time, turns out it isn't as ea
SYNOPSIS
The film has a fragmented structure throughout
First Act:
The audience are introduced to the main character
‘Luka’, He is shown walking through the park
reminiscing on his past relationship with Megan. Shows
how they first met, some flashes into the relationship-
Luka starts showing some of his strange habits and ‘tics’
Second Act:
Shows how Megan and Luka met in the park, and
how good their relationship was. Shows how Megan
appreciated him and loved him even with his Tics,
she learns to love them and love him. The tic wont be
revealed to the audience yet, but there will be things
that Luka does that hints towards him having
obsessive compulsive disorder.
Third Act:
The relationship starts to break down, the things Megan first
loved about Luka including his habits and tics become
annoyances and time wasting, goes back to Luka walking
through the park still thinking back. Ends with a shot of his
door open and his lights on, finally reveals to the audience
that Luka’s habits are because of OCD- ends on the line
“when you have obsessive compulsive disorder, you don't
really get quiet moments”

a narrative of the
recreation of the
poem, voiced by
Luka as it’ll be
like an inner
monologue
The first time I saw her
I knew I had to talk to her
But when I saw her, the only thing I could think about was the hairpin curve of her lips..
Or the eyelash on her cheek –
the eyelash on her cheek-
the eyelash on her cheek.
Everything in my head went quiet
When she said she loved me her, her mouth would curl up at the edges
Everything in my head went quiet
when she talked-
when she talked
when she talked.
At Night, she’d lay in bed with me and watch me
turn all the lights off.. and on and off and on and off and on and off and on and off and on
and off-
she’d close her eyes and imagine
the days and night were passing in front of her.
I want her so bad..
she was the first beautiful thing I got stuck on.
how she turns shower knobs like she’s opening a safe..
how she blows out candles-
blows out candles-
blows out candles-
blows out candles-
blows out..
(love is not a mistake, if love is a mistake how comes I dont have to wash my hands after
I touch her?)
I want her back so bad..
I asked her out six times in thirty seconds
I had to kiss her goodbye sixteen times
I had to lock the door eighteen times
she said I was taking up too much of her time,
when she said she loved me her mouth was a straight line.
Now I cant stop thinking about who else is kissing her
I cant breathe because he only kisses her once- he doesn’t care if it’s perfect!
I want her back so badly-
I leave the door unlocked, I leave the lights on.
When you have obsessive compulsive disorder you don’t really get quiet moments.
Effects (Foley)
The foley effects we intend to involve is heightened
songs of Lukas background, this would include: the
wind, trees rustling, birds singing, footsteps, breathing
etc.
We want to really isolate these sounds to bring them to
life and really make them intense
gMusic
In-between the narrative and maybe quietly
underneath (depending how it sounds) we wanted to
involve a little bit of music, nothing too harsh. Here is
an example of some similar music that could be
involved
