The concept of our idea is an animated selection of
landscapes, such as a city a beach a forest and a
volcano. The concept of the logo will start with a man
standing in the city and sets off a spark. Once the spark
has gone through all the different landscapes, the spark
hits the volcano the lava will flow down the volcano
and the lava will outline the number 4.. Our ident will
be made out of lego and clay to make a stop frame
animation. We will add sound to the different
landscapes for more affect and interest to the ident.
Their isn’t a main character in the ident but the spark is
the main focus. We will film our ident on a table with a
background to make up the scenery. The colours we
will use are mostly bright colours as our logo also
consist of bright colours.



Our ident is the best because it is unique and
spectacular.
Our ident relates to channel 4’s theme of
landscapes as our ident has lots of different
scenery.
Our ident is different to others, however, with
in the 20 seconds we have managed to fit many
different ideas into one.

Reason why our idea is the best
Research



Our research in recent studies have helped us a
huge amount to create our ident. We have
taken reviews and responses from channel 4
viewers and compiled this altogether, to help
us make our final idea. We asked the viewers
what they wanted to see in a logo. 30% said
animation, 30% said creativity, 20% said colour
and the final 20% said boldness. As this was a
very close survey, we took it all into
consideration to create an ident with colour,
animation, boldness and creativity.
