Piccadilly Circus is a major traffic junction and public space in London's West End built in 1819. It connects Regent Street to Piccadilly, a major shopping street. The Circus is known for its video displays, neon signs, and Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain honoring a famous Victorian politician. The underground Piccadilly Circus station is located directly under the Circus.
