1. Photo shop analysis

2. Here are two screen shots of
one of the five images that I
took from the internet. As my
first idea for my magazine
cover was to have an image of
Batman and Joker looking like
they are facing off with each
other so I first tried to find
images with Batman and and
Joker in them. I used
Photoshop to take out the
outline of Batman's head. I also
used the blending tool to get
rid of the PlayStation symbol
on Batman, I blended it so that
it was the the same colour as
Batman’s cape. It took me a
while to find the image I
wanted.

3. Here is the second image that
features on the front cover, it is
of Joker, the main villain in the
game. Like the Batman image I
used Photoshop outline the
Image of Joker, as his hair was
spiky I had to use the zoom in
order to make sure that I was
cutting out the right section of
his hair. This required precision
and focus and the use of
different tools.

4. This is the background of my magazine cover. I
got two separate images of a moon and the
earth. I put the two images on Photoshop and
pasted the image of the moon over the earth. I
then began to change the opacity of the moon
so that it blended with the energy looking blast’s
from either side of the earth. The process I went
through is shown above.

5. This is the final
product of my
magazine. I added
a title, Gamerz
Heaven, and some
information on
some of the
contents of the
magazine. There is
also a barcode, an
issue number,
price and the date
it was released.
