Photoshoot plan
- 2. Brighton Statement of Intent I am going to be taking photographs in Brighton’s city centre, and decide to shoot along the seaside and also in the shopping areas where independent, vintage and new shops are located. I will shoot in places that have lots of facilities and activities going on. I want to give a sense of the atmosphere that Brighton has all year round, as there is so much to do and explore. I will want to capture a side of Brighton that many photographers don’t, so my photographs will show something unique and different to include for my magazine. I will be going with my two friends, so they could pose and be my models if I feel that I need to take photographs of them in the location.
- 3. Location I am going to be looking round the Lanes and going to some vintage and independent shops on my day in Brighton, as I am interested in these areas and it would also give me an idea of what I would want to include in my magazine. I have included images of maps from google maps in order to give an idea of where I might be walking to, and taking images. I will want to take photographs of the piers and along the beach as this is one of the most popular tourist attractions, and a landmark that Brighton is famous for.

- 5. The circled area shows where the lanes and piers are on the beach, the places that I will be visiting.
- 6. Equipment List: -Camera and strap -Bag to carry items -Flash -Memory card -Coat -Train ticket -Money -Phone -Etc.. I will be taking these things with me in order to do the photoshoot and to also help me in order to achieve the best images possible. I will take into consideration of how many items to bring with me because I do not want to be carrying a heavy bag around all day.

What health and safety issues could crop up in this location? · Slips, trips and falls on the beach · Traffic and busy streets · Missing the train · People bumping into me as I am taking photos · Windy, wet weather, be prepared by taking a coat · Losing my camera or equipment Weather conditions: • It may rain! • Cloudy weather at this time of year, this can affect the photographs as they will appear darker than usual • Use photoshop to brighten and edit images
- 8. The train journey to Brighton
- 9. Travel I will travel to Brighton by train from Bedford, as I am going to be staying there over the weekend. This is a map showing the route from Bedford to Brighton on the train, and I will show the ticket in which proves that I made the journey. I have included an image to show the journey and trains that I will be able to get, to travel down to Brighton. It will take me around 2 hours and 45 minutes in order to travel down to Brighton from Bedford. I will be planning to catch the 9:24 train from Bedford to arrive in Brighton at around 11:00ish, which gives me several hours to travel around the city and find my way around.
