1. Photoshoot and Photoshop
It was one sunnydayat Tupton Hall School,whenourteacherdecidedtoletusbe free andexplore
our creative abilities.He setuswiththe task of takingsome photosthat we wouldlaterediton
Photoshop.
I may have gone a little crazywiththe editing.
Insteadof usingPhotoshopforthese we usedawebsite called Pixlr.Ididthe firsttwo and Hyleana
didthe last.For the topone I put the writinginfirstto fill the blankspace inthe topright corner. I
didn’twrite thisinspirationalquote,before youask,itwasa sticker. Ithendecidedtofill the area
aroundmyself todraw attentiontothe centre (okthat’sa lie,Ijust like the geometricshapesandit
probablydrawsmore attentionfromme).
For thisedit,we changedall the saturation/huesseparatelyonPhotoshopandthenpiece them
togetheronthe internetusingacollage maker.However,afterwe didthingIlearnthow to piece the
photostogetheronPhotoshop.(Itwasa bitmore time consuming.) Itkindof lookslike anAndy
Warhol piece.
2. These were alsodone inpixlr. The lastonesalittle ironicwiththe writingbutIquite like the light
effectandwouldconsideractuallyusinganeffectlike thisinourfinal video.Ithinkthe colouredone
wouldlookbetterif Ididn’taddthat tiara on,plusI couldn’tchange itto the otherway round.
3. The brick one was done onPhotoshop.Toachieve thisIcreateda new layerandfilleditwitha
rainbowbackground,where Idecidedtotake the pinksandredsout. I thenmergedthe layerdown
and thenpressreveal all onlayermask.To stayin the linesasmuch as I couldI usedthe selection
tool to selectthe bricksandthe rubbedoutthe phototo reveal the colourunderneath.
The secondblackand white one wouldhave workedif Iactuallyselectedthe rightpicture - the
serious one shownbelow.
Thisis the one where Iwastedtime onPhotoshoptocreate a collage ratherthangoingonline.Itwas
so fiddlyanditprobablyisn’tevenstraight.
4. Thisone most likelytookme the longest.
FirstI turnedthe photo.I knewhowto do thisfromart so it wasprettysimple andquick.Iunlocked
the layer,pressedshowtransformations,rotateditandcropped.I triedtoselectthe hairand just
change the saturation/hue butthischangedthe whole photoscolour.Iattemptdifferentthingsuntil
I endedupresultingtothe internet. Turnsoutit’sprettyeasyif youknow whatto do. I duplicated
the photoand changedone so that saturationwason 0. I thendidthe same as I didwiththe brick
one.
Here it justlookslike I’msniffingmyarmpit.We decidedtogive thisadiscokindof feel.
