The photographer plans to take pictures of friends dressed in hip-hop clothing for a photography project. They will take the pictures either in a photography studio with a white background or outside at a graffiti wall. The photos will be taken mid-day for good lighting and weather will be checked to avoid rain, though rain could provide an interesting effect. Various poses will be taken, including one model holding an imaginary title on a contents page.

1. Photography Planning
Who- I will take pictures of my friends dressed in hip-hop clothing. I will make sure
they look the part.
Where- Either in the photography studio so I have a white background, or I will find a
graffiti wall and take photos of them in front of the wall.
When- I will take the pictures mid day so the lighting Is good, and I will check the
weather forecast to make sure it wont rain, I could even take photos in the rain, this
could be a good effect.
How- I will take pictures of my models in different positions, I could take one of them
with one hand out as if they are holding a title on the contents page, this could work
well.

2. Front Cover Photography planning
For my front cover id like
to use a posed close up

Rihanna and in a studio. I
like this because it will fill
the page and I wont have
to colour the background.

3. Contents page photography planning
For my contents page I would
like to use a picture like this
one of drake pointing to his
fans on stage, but pointing at
the contents of the magazine.
I like it is it is a medium close
up and naturalistic.

4. Double page spread photography
planning
Id like to use a picture like this
for my double page spread, as
there is a lot of negative space
so I could put some of the text
in this space and it is a long
shot.
