This document records weekly weather observations from September to April in Greece. It includes the minimum and maximum temperatures, amount of sunshine, rainfall, day length, and sunrise/sunset times for each day of the recorded weeks. The temperatures gradually decrease from September to December before beginning to increase again from January to April, while the days get shorter and sunrise/sunset times change accordingly over the period. Rainfall is generally light or non-existent, though some weeks in December, February, and March saw small amounts of rain.
The document provides summaries of several Greek myths and legends, including how Athens got its name from a competition between Athena and Poseidon to be the city's patron, the myth of Europa explaining how a beautiful girl gave her name to the whole continent of Europe, and how the Aegean Sea got its name from King Aegeas of Athens who waited for his son Theseus' return from slaying the Minotaur.
This document describes two math activities: a multiplication card game to practice multiplication facts and an activity where students organize a medieval market by calculating costs and profits using multiplication. The multiplication card game has students draw cards with multiplication problems and solve them to earn points. For the medieval market activity, students pretend to run market stalls and use multiplication to track expenses, income, and profits.

My dear diary,
here we are again waiting at the airport for our
flight to the magnificent Paris! I’ m so excited
to meet my friends from other countries and
I’m pretty sure that we’ll have great time and
this time as well!
In my destination I’ m accompanied by Mrs.
Barbara, Mrs. Katerina, Mrs. Eirini and my
schoolmates Cleo and Lydia. Our theme is about
maths and architecture and I’m looking forward
to experiencing what our Parisians friends have
prepared for us.
After a brief stop at the airport of
Thessaloniki we boarded to our indirect
flight to Paris with the same enthusiasm…our
joy was indescribable! When we landed, we
were transferred to our hotel where our
French friends were waiting for us along
with the host family.
A new day dawns and my
impatience to explore every part
of this magical place is peaked…
Today, as it’s our first day to the
city of lights we will start from
the school, where the rest of our
European friends will be waiting
for us! At the beginning we will
attend a welcome ceremony, we
will be familiar with the school
facilities and then we will walk
through the streets and the
alleyways to finish our tour with a
memorable cruise trip on the River
Seine.

6. 19-5-2015
Today we visited the historic
catholic Cathedral of Notre
Dame, which is considered to
be one of the masterpieces of
gothic architecture. The
naturalism of its sculptures and
stained glass are in contrast
with the previous architecture.
The awe I felt when I entered
the temple can’t be described!
The atmosphere captivates you
and enchants you as well! What
we had to do was to design one
of the dazzling vitro on a
plexiglass and then color it
accordingly. I was so thrilled
with my work that I paved
straight to it!

νομίζετε;
Today, I woke up with an
amazing mood at the thought
that I can finally see the symbol
of Paris which is nothing more
than the Eiffel Tower of course!
I look forward to popping on the
first floor of this unique
architectural construction and to
gaze from above the views that
I'm sure will take my breath
away! Also, I learned that I will
be able to walk on a glass floor
and feel how it is to walk in void!
A unique experience, don’t you
think?
Before that however, I should
visit the Museum of Architecture
and Heritage, where I will have
the opportunity to see up closely
models and designs of buildings
and other architectural
structures dating from the
Middle Ages until today!

And now it's time we become architects for a while!
Today, we will learn to make a 2d drawing plan of a
room using the Kutch, a special architectural tool that
resembles a ruler designed and adapted to our
possibilities. Initially, we must measure the room by
opening our hands, cubits and palms and then design
its floor plan after making the necessary
mathematical conversions. So, it’s time to work! Take
a pencil and a paper and let’s begin…
Later, that day we walked to the
town hall where we attended a
small ceremony which was prepared
by our French friends in
cooperation with the municipal
authorities. Our welcome was
particularly warm! There, I
received my souvenir which was a
fabulous necklace and a seal on my
passport! I was so excited! Our
party was continued at school,
where we danced and enjoyed
several tasty temptations!
We reached to our last day
in ‘Ecole Massillon, Paris.
Today, we will attend our
last workshop as well, where
we have to build three-
dimensional facades
monuments using various
geometric shapes. After a
draw, my group was
responsible for the
construction of the Louvre
museum.
Somewhat so, we arrive at
the end of this unforgettable
experience through this
magical trip! Goodbye my
friends and thank you very
much for everything! I am
looking forward to meeting
each other again in my
country, Greece !
