I’m Phoebe, I love a challenge and I’m looking for a
new one!
I’m a confident, ambitious interior designer looking
for full-time roles in either the architecture/design
or sales fields, in Melbourne. Though I’ve only had
a year and half of professional experience in this
industry, I’ve had positions with a lot of autonomy,
responsibility and I have seen my designs go from
concepts to CAD to fully realised projects.
I believe I’m exactly what you are looking for.

Things I have achieved in the industry:
Crystal Interior Concepts
Sales and Design Consultant
I work as the sales and design consultant for Crystal Interior Concepts, at the prestigious World Of Style by Porter
Davis. I help clients design the layout of joinery and sliding doors for their walk in wardrobes and robes, which are
sold as upgrades in their Porter Davis home. I then provide quotes for clients and maintain a detailed record of
communication, appointments and sales. I work both independently for Crystal Interior Concepts and also as part of
the greater Porter Davis team.
Further Duties include:
• Prepping for weekly booked appointments
• Maintaining Excel Records
• Following up on existing quotes
• Liaising with Building Coordinators
• Using SAP to record all information
• Reporting on sales targets and monthly budgets to management
Bourne Bathroom and Kitchen Centre
Principle Interior Designer, Project Manager
During my year contract at Bourne Bathroom and Kitchen Centre I had many different tasks and responsibilities. I
was the sole designer tasked with redesigning and supervising the renovations of their 5 Melbourne Showrooms.
This includes, drawing up existing floor-plans, space planning, ArchiCAD design and 3D imaging, joinery design for
all displays, and worked closely with the joiner during construction. I also implemented the Visual Merchandising
plan for the showrooms; I designed all ‘mock’ bathroom displays, selected styling items, choosing materials and
finishes and developing a lighting plan. I maintained a detailed Job folder with all documentation, budgeting and
product specifications. I project managed the build, supervising all trades and problem solving when needed. I also
developed several new ranges of vanities that are fully customisable and built locally.
Further duties include:
• Liaising with brand representatives and developing a network of suppliers and trades
• Product selection and visual merchandising
• Product research, innovation and development for new locally made products
• Providing workable drawings for suppliers, joiners and trades and negotiating for best quotes
• Home Show Exhibition design, project management and consulting
• Visual Merchandising & Marketing including product/brand signage for both interiors and exteriors of buildings
• Client design consultations, extensive product knowledge of all bathroom and kitchen products
• Brochure Design (Adobe Suite)
Hirsch and Bedner Associates
Internship
World-renowned in the Hospitality Design industry, HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates has specialised in luxury and
boutique hotels, resorts, and spas since 1965.
I successfully applied for a place in their 12 week internship program, where I was able to learn about all phases
of the design process, including planning, presentation, concept, design development, and interior design
documentation.
Further duties include:
• FF&E Assistant
• Producing Control Boards
• Photoshop Editing
• Meeting with Suppliers and Representatives
• Administration Duties
