3. This Ph.D. is for academics who are interested in
developing sustainable and productive solutions to
improve the quality of people’s lives. You will gain an in-
depth understanding of public policy theory, research
and practice that will prepare students to meet the global
challenges associated with governance or public service.

4. This academic credential will help a student assert their
credibility in a new career endeavor within the public,
private or nonprofit world. Whether you want to be an
academic teacher or serve through an administrative
leadership role, this Ph.D. will provide you with the skills to
effectuate change.

6. Students who complete their dissertation should embark
on a career within government (if possible), academic
institutions or research-based organizations focused on
improving the policies that affect people’s daily lives. One
of the primary focuses of these Ph.D. programs is delving
into the question of what governments should do within
a society and how they can govern more effectively and
fairly.

7. There are some master degrees students can
obtain prior to embarking on a Ph.D. It will
allow students to complete this Ph.D. a bit
faster. Some examples include a Master in
Public Administration or a Master in
Nonprofit Management and Leadership.

9. This Ph.D. will allow a student to pursue
effectively their passion for making the
world a more sustainable place by
working toward solutions that tackle
some of the most challenging social issues
around the globe. Therefore, the
dissertation is expected to represent a
significant contribution to knowledge in a

function of a government body in a given
area.

10. This program is equivalent to EQF (European
Qualifications Framework) Level 8 - Doctorate Level
This program is equivalent to 180 ECTS
How long should be my thesis?
Usually, it should be 60.000 – 100.000 words (from
chapter 1 to chapter 5). Students are allowed to have
10% less or more, however, the supervisor can allow a
student to write more.

12. Do you indicate words ‘online’ or ‘distance’
on Ph.D. certificate??
 Can I use the title?
 We have asked the Swiss Authorities about the title, and their
answer was (Students are allowed to use the title they got from
the school)
 Is there a "Thesis Defence"?
 Yes, and we recommend students to do it in Switzerland.
However it can be done ONLINE too, you need a camera and
microphone.
 Study Language: this study program is taught entirely in English.

We have 5 intakes per year. So, you can start at any month
you wish.
Duration: 3 Years (one-year Study program + Thesis work
which takes around 2 years)
Age: 25 years or older
Previous study: Master degree or equivalent

16. Thesis Work
 What is the thesis work:
 The Ph.D. candidate has to somethings more than DBA & D.Phil.'s
candidates, as below:
 Duration is min. 2 years up to 7 years
 The thesis must be on the highest level
 The candidate must teach at OUS or any other accredited
university/academy for at least 48 hours
 The candidate needs to have at least 3 publications (online publications
are fine too)
 The candidate should supervise at least 3 projects/thesis for
Undergraduate or Master students.

18. Modules:
 For the Ph.D., your thesis is the most important part, you have to write
the whole thesis about the "Business Administration" with one of our
supervisors.
