This document summarizes a user-centered design project by Laura and Roxy to create a browser that helps students manage their time online. It covers the problem definition of students getting distracted on social media sites. The goals are to increase efficiency and support both work and social tasks separately. User research found students wanted separation of these tasks. The design concept features two modes: Study Mode and Social Mode. Study Mode organizes work-related websites and tools while Social Mode integrates social media profiles. The benefits are keeping different mindsets and activities separate to improve focus while providing easy access to relevant features and bookmarks.
