duties such as assisting patients, filling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and keeping
pharmacy records.

Excellent customer service skills, computer skills, a basic understanding of the human body,
and the physical stamina to stand on your feet for a shift are important. Technicians and aides
work in many different settings, including retail/community pharmacies, in-patient and
out-patient hospital pharmacies, long-term care facilities and home care services. Work
schedules vary including part-time, evenings and weekends.
