This document outlines a simple 3-phase approach to cracking the pharmacognosy section of GPAT. Phase 1 involves learning all primary and secondary metabolite classifications. Phase 2 focuses on extraction techniques and shikimic and allied pathways. Phase 3 is revising key concepts from Kokate's pharmacognosy textbook and practice modules to prepare for the exam.
