It is particularly distressing when some Christians are alienated or repressed for their views and beliefs of affiliation in Christ. But note behind every persecution there is a message and something God wants us to learn from. Focus not on the campaign to subjugate or eliminate you but look for the possibilities in the word concerning you. With Christ it is never hopeless, remember you are what God says you are and you have what God says you have because you are a peculiar person, sanctified, separated and put apart for his use. Know this, “Rejoice if you are persecuted, because you are fit for an acceptable purpose to proclaim liberty to them that are imprisoned by fleshy lust, to bind up the broken hearted, and to comfort all that mourn.
