MAK II™ Sampling Systems
The MAK II™ Sampling Systems,
designed for sampling mercury-in-
gas and other gas phase matrices,
have proven their reliability, precision
and robustness in the toughest
environments. The MAK II™ system
design includes features and
components that make it the most
reliable, maintenance free, easily
operated, and flexible mercury-in-
gas sampling system available
in the industry.

MAK II™ Systems have been success-
fully deployed on offshore platforms
(Gulf of Mexico) for monitoring mercury MAK IITM System monitoring mercury in refinery fuel gas.
on natural gas production platforms, natural gas gathering platforms, separation
and dehydration plants, and along major mainline gas transmission pipelines.

The MAK II™ Sampling System Features
MAK II™ Sampling Systems are designed for safety, flexibility, precision,
accuracy and control. In addition, our MAK II™ Sampling Systems have been
designed for simplicity in their use, operation, repair, and cleaning. With the
deployment of each MAK II™ Sampling System, a detailed system manual
is provided that includes detailed operating procedures, a description and
function of all components, and manufacturer’s specifications for all compo-
nents. This manual is designed to facilitate the “management of change”
procedures employed in many petrochemical facilities for the installation
of new equipment or modifications to existing systems.

Manufacturing and Safety Standards
All MAK II™ Sampling Systems are manufactured to meet the highest safety
ratings. The heated sampling enclosure/control panel and the metering panel
are manufactured to NEMA 4X standards, and all electrical components are
certified for deployment in Class 1 Division 1 areas. All flow control components
(valves, regulators, flow meters, pressure and temperature indicators, tubing,
etc.) are stainless steel.

Mercury and Toxic Metals Solutions: Measurement and Monitoring Systems MAK II™ Sampling Systems The MAK II™ Sampling Systems, designed for sampling mercury-in- gas and other gas phase matrices, have proven their reliability, precision and robustness in the toughest environments. The MAK II™ system design includes features and components that make it the most reliable, maintenance free, easily operated, and flexible mercury-in- gas sampling system available in the industry. MAK II™ Systems have been success- fully deployed on offshore platforms (Gulf of Mexico) for monitoring mercury MAK IITM System monitoring mercury in refinery fuel gas. on natural gas production platforms, natural gas gathering platforms, separation and dehydration plants, and along major mainline gas transmission pipelines. The MAK II™ Sampling System Features MAK II™ Sampling Systems are designed for safety, flexibility, precision, accuracy and control. In addition, our MAK II™ Sampling Systems have been designed for simplicity in their use, operation, repair, and cleaning. With the deployment of each MAK II™ Sampling System, a detailed system manual is provided that includes detailed operating procedures, a description and function of all components, and manufacturer’s specifications for all compo- nents. This manual is designed to facilitate the “management of change” procedures employed in many petrochemical facilities for the installation of new equipment or modifications to existing systems. Manufacturing and Safety Standards All MAK II™ Sampling Systems are manufactured to meet the highest safety ratings. The heated sampling enclosure/control panel and the metering panel are manufactured to NEMA 4X standards, and all electrical components are certified for deployment in Class 1 Division 1 areas. All flow control components (valves, regulators, flow meters, pressure and temperature indicators, tubing, etc.) are stainless steel. Copyright © 2011 Portnoy Environmental, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
