This document outlines a plan for implementing peer observation of teaching (POT) at TCOM. POT involves teachers observing each other's teaching practice to provide feedback and improve quality. Its goals are to enhance teaching techniques, identify areas for development, and develop evaluation skills. The process involves a pre-observation meeting, classroom observation by two peers, and a post-observation feedback session. All faculty will be trained in POT and participate once per semester. Observations will focus on teaching activities like lectures and involve randomly assigned pairs. Feedback forms will be completed and shared confidentially with the observed teacher.
