A Spanish drug lord built a 3 million euro mansion in Pedreguer with the proceeds of one of Spain's largest drug operations. Known as "El Franky", he disappeared 12 years ago but was discovered living at the mansion with a false identity. While his ex-wife and others associated with him were not charged, the court seized the mansion as it was proven to belong to El Franky despite being in another's name.

Costa Blanca .It appears that a mansion in Pedreguer was built with the proceeds of one of
Spain´s largest drug dealing operations .This according to an Alicante court .It is used as a
home for disabled people .
The property was built by a man from Galicia who it is alleged had his fingerprints surgically
removed .The court has now seized the property .
The owner of the property disappeared off the scene 12 years ago and has now been
discovered in Pedreguer .The man , known as “El Franky ” had a false ID and false papers
.When arrested at the mansion he was with his ex-wife , his children and his parents .
Four people have not been charged in the case even though they have been closely involved
with El Franky .One was his ex-wife , who in 1996 banked 300,000 euros and said that it was a
lottery win .There has not been enough proof to indicate otherwise .
The Pedreguer mansion is said to be worth around 3 million euros and the judge in the case
feels that it is proven that it belongs to the accused even though his female lover is named as
the owner and property manager .
