Abstract
Research on the production of vermicompost from organic waste of wastewater
treatment system It's an experimental research. This experimental research aims to study the
growth and decomposition of organic wastes of mineral eyeworms (Perionyx sp.1) fed with 3
different organic wastes. Use fruit scraps (watermelon) without adding organic waste.
Experiment set 1 uses fruit scraps (watermelon) mixed with organic waste at a ratio of 5/1000
grams and experiment set 2 uses fruit scraps (watermelon) mixed with waste. Organic ratio
10/1000 g. Each experiment was 3 drawers, 300 g each, total of 9 drawers. number of
earthworms and average body weight of earthworms and the experimental environment
record form, i.e. pH, humidity, and temperature, was recorded every 15 days for a period of
90 days. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, i.e. mean and standard deviation.
The study found that The highest mean weight was experimental set 1 with an average
weight of 10.1±8.96 g, followed by experimental set 2 and control with an average of 8.3±7
and 5.2±4.51, respectively. 1 The highest average number was experimental set 1 with an
average number of earthworms 54.1±16.5 individuals, followed by experimental set 2 and
control with an average of 39.4±3 individuals and 26.1±10.15 individuals, respectively. was the
second experimental set with an average body weight of 0.33±0.48 g/each, followed by the
control set. and experimental set 1 had an average of 0.21.±0.06 g/animal and 0.18±0.07
g/animal, respectively. The experimental set with the highest degradation rate was the control
set with an average degradation rate of 0.8 g/day. /animal, followed by experimental set 2
and experimental set 1, with an average of 0.56 g/day/animal and 0.23 g/day/pcs, respectively,
with vermicompost yields weighing more than 900 g per each experiment. Division of Physical
and Environmental Administration Ubon Ratchathani University It can be applied as a way to
reduce organic waste by using it in the form of vermicompost.
