A holy convocation held on the 10th day of the 7th month of Tisri.
This is the most solemn day of the year during which we fast & offer prayers to be forgiven for our sins.
To ‘atone’ means to reconcile, to make right and recompense
God commands us to celebrate the atonement each year, which points to the time when Christ will blot away our sins with his blood.
It is common to refer to the process of maturing as a disciple as spiritual formation. Here, based upon work by Greg Ogden, I give a four stage process for growing into maturity, and fruitfulness, as a follower of King Jesus.

Get Into The Game! Colossians 3:1-4 Adapted from a Jeffery Anselmi sermon
http://www.sermoncentral.com/print_friendly.asp?ContributorID=&SermonID=93553
Presentation on the topic "Resurrection of Jesus" . Contains word study of the word "resurrection", harmonization of the Gospel accounts and historical evidence for the death, empty tomb and post-mortem appearances of Jesus.
Passover not only commemorates the time in which ancient Israel was delivered from bondage in Egypt but it also concerns the death & resurrection of Christ who through the shedding of his blood will preserve his saints from eternal death.
Praying should be taught… so it can be learnt and effectually done. So, when the Lord Jesus Christ admonished the disciples to pray at least one hour (Mathew 26:40), could He thereon have enjoined us to attain 1hour PB in prayers?
This slides deck has example prayer points created to help you pursue a 1hour personal best in prayers.
Aside the duration dimension, it is the author’s passion for you to observe keenly how the prayer points have been formulated from the reference Bible verses and thereby to develop your skills at personally creating biblically sound prayer points.
_Ministry_Encounter #5_The Baptism of the Holy SpiritRohan Dredge
In this fifth stage in the ENCOUNTER series I teach on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. One of the most empowering experiences a Christian can have in their spiritual journey.
As I prepared and taught this, I was super mindful of the spectrum of beliefs and experiences around this topic. Even in my home Church we have a series of experiences that are quite different to one another.
That said, I’m convinced in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience available to believers so they are more useful and effective for Kingdom orientated ministry.
I also cover off on the topic of “speaking in other tongues” and how it is available to believers as an empowering and edifying discipline for our discipleship.
You’re invited to head into a deeper, more dynamic and empowered relationship with Jesus. The key is the personal spiritual revolution that comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This Epistle has been highly esteemed by several learned men of the church of Rome and others. The Quakers have printed a translation and plead for it, as the reader may see, by consulting Poole's Annotations on Col. vi. 16. Sixtus Senensis mentions two MSS., the one in the Sorbonne Library at Paris, which is a very ancient copy, and the other in the Library of Joannes a Viridario, at Padua, which he transcribed and published, and which is the authority for the following translation. There is a very old translation of this Epistle in the British Museum, among the Harleian MSS., Cod. 1212.
Several very learned writers have entertained a favourable opinion of these Epistles. They are undoubtedly of high antiquity. Salmeron cites them to prove that Seneca was one of Car's household, referred to by Paul, Philip. iv. 22, as saluting the brethren at Philippi. In Jerome's enumeration of illustrious men, he places Seneca, on account of these Epistles, amongst the ecclesiastical and holy writers of the Christian Church. Sixtus Senensis has published them in his Bibliotheque, pp. 89, 90; and it is from thence that the present translation is made. Baronius, Bellarmine, Dr. Cave, Spanheim, and others, contend that they are not genuine.
The Epistle of Jude is the penultimate book of the New Testament as well as the Christian Bible. It is traditionally attributed to Jude, brother of James the Just, and thus possibly a brother of Jesus as well. Jude is a short epistle written in Koine Greek.
