Hi, my name is Paul Bowers and I am a skilled artist and also an experienced designer, developer and user of games across a broad range of platforms, styles and genres.
After many years in various roles throughout the entertainment media industry I have garnered a broad knowledge of interactive media design principles and practice
such as; 2D and 3D Character design, Commercial Illustration, Game Design, User Interface, Web and Multimedia. I am keen to bring to any endeavour my traditional, and
digital art skills in diverse styles, mediums and genre, as well as a high standard of creating and communicating original ideas and concepts.

My complimentary mix of artistic styles and technical ability are highly suited to many
positions within a company creating media for the entertainment industry. I like working
on a variety of projects and take a keen interest in developing technology and trends within the
industry.
I have worked in a senior lead artist role as a project leader and have a thorough understandling
of effectively communicating ideas and feedback. I really enjoy working collaboratively with
people in a studio environment and I am both very social and professional to client, and col-
leagues alike.
For the past 5 years I have been working remotely as a freelance graphic artist on various
projects including “Hero-U” an adventure game Directed by Lori and Corey Cole veterans of
Sierra and developers of the “Quest for Glory” and “King’s Quest” series.

Having had a keen interest in game development for many years I am very familiar with the design process from concepting through to final implementation and have a
solid understanding of common studio practices and workflows.
I am highly skilled at modelling in various 3D packages both high and low poly, I have a meticulous attention to detail as well as a thorough understanding of efficient mesh
topology, sculpting and texturing. I also have sound knowledge of rigging and animation and their implementation into Unreal and Unity 4.
