Furnace Operator

 Determine and collect the proper grade of material to be processed based on the work order.
 I weigh the material and place the proper carbide materiel and zinc into a crucible (a heavy
box that doesn’t melt) place the crucible into the furnace that heats up the carbide and zinc
melting it down.
 I review monitor screen for temperature, time, vacuum chamber, and current segment during
the running process and log it in every half hour.
 Once the material is melted down I remove it from the furnace and place it in to a shaker or
ball mill to break it down to a powder.

2.  I then screen the powder using a 325 mesh screen to remove the nonconforming material,
weigh it again, and then fill out the paper work for the order.
 I turn in the work order with a sample of the completed material for testing.

 I started as a pallet builder
 Received boxes from a converter ray, checked them for the store allocation, then strategically
placed them on the designated pallet
 I trained three people in pallet building, teaching them all the skills and techniques I learned
and taught myself

 Managers would use the pallets I built to teach new associates how to build them.
 I was being trained to move up to be a sorter where I used computer technology to keep the
