Paul Revere was a goldsmith and Mason who became known as a leader in the American Revolution. He helped lead the Boston Tea Party and famously warned Sam Adams and others of the approaching British forces by riding through towns at night. Revere accomplished many things in support of the patriot cause, including completing an engraving of the Boston Massacre and boldly warning the British of potential defeat if they attacked Lexington.
