Duties and tasks: Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, AA/EEO, and individual projects. The HR specialist will be involved in daily HR activities in support of assigned facilities. The specialist assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures. Prepares reports in conformance with organization needs or legislated requirements
Environment: Most of the activities will be office-based, it is only on rare occasions such as training will the specialist be out of the office.
Equipment: The specialist will require office furniture and file cabinet because he/she will be involved in a lot of record keeping and paperwork. Extensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word is required.
Relationships: The specialist will be required to have great deal of communication skills because of the supervision tasks. Insurance Agency Helps Client Win Worksite Wellness Award
Southern New England’s Largest Volume Chevrolet Dealer Wins Wellness Award and
Gives Thanks to their Insurance Broker The Health Consultants Group.
Plainville, CT—The Health Consultants Group, LLC (HCG) does much more than just sell
employee benefits insurance; they help employees become healthier through custom wellness
programs.
HCG’s client Paul Masse Automotive Group is Southern New England’s Largest Volume
Chevrolet dealer with three locations and 100 employees; their employees participate in wellness
programs supported by HCG.
HCG held a wellness fair where employees at each location received blood pressure, cholesterol,
and glucose readings, along with body composition analysis (BMI).
“Employees completed a health assessment questionnaire that measured how many days a week
employees were getting physically active to how many glasses of water they were consuming on
a daily basis. The screenings and questionnaire helped me identify where Paul Masse
Automotive Group would need to focus their wellness programs,” says Susan Mateyov, Wellness
Coordinator at HCG. “I created a wellness plan with specific programs and challenges that
would fit their company. The wellness plan and screening information helped Paul Masse
Automotive Group win a Worksite Health Award.”
The 21st Annual Worksite Health Award Ceremony recognizes RI businesses that promote
wellness in the workplace. Winners are selected based on the scale and impact of their health and
wellness programs and health-oriented workplace policies.

and wellness and we will continue to put in these efforts to better ourselves every day,” says Paul

Paul Masse Automotive Group received their award on June 4th
at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick,
where over 400 members of the business community gathered to celebrate improving the health
and wellness of thousands of employees and their families. The awards were presented by Blue
Cross & Blue Shield of RI in partnership with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.
