 Led by president and founder Corinne Servily, Faircom
New York provides nonprofit organizations with dedicated
fundraising campaign consulting services. In April 2016,
the president of Faircom New York made a presentation
to the King Baudouin Foundation on results-driven
pathways to entering the U.S. fundraising sphere.
The United States represents a major philanthropic
market, and approximately 50 percent of American
citizens contribute to some charitable cause each year.
On average, $1,200 is donated to nonprofits spanning
diverse areas. This has attracted numerous international
organizations, and approximately 200 European
organizations are engaged in U.S. fundraising activities.

3. FUNDRAISING
 The United States represents a major fundraising nexus,
in part because of the $2.4 billion in wealth that
billionaires control. This is significantly more than the
$593 billion controlled by Chinese billionaires and the
$469 controlled by billionaires in Germany.
The King Baudouin Foundation maintains a sizable U.S.
fundraising presence. Money raised stateside is
distributed to organizations throughout Europe and Africa,
including the Institut Curie in Paris, which is seeking a
cure to cancer. In Africa, the foundation supports the
efforts of the School of St. Jude in providing educational
opportunities to disadvantaged Tanzanian youth.
