This document provides ideas and suggestions for celebrating Clergy Appreciation Month in October. It includes a pastor worksheet to learn more about their interests so gifts can show appreciation. Suggestions are made for individual members to express appreciation through words, acts of service, or gifts. Ideas are also given for church-wide events, such as a pizza party where members share appreciation, organizing a "flash mob" during service, writing thank you cards, decorating the church with pictures and messages of gratitude, making t-shirts to wear displaying appreciation, inviting a guest speaker one Sabbath, having children make art for the pastor's office, sending text messages of appreciation, or planning a "Pastor's Choice" worship service
Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
This document discusses the importance of unity among Christians. It argues that unity is key to fellowship with God and each other. Paul's plan for unity, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 1:9-13, involves: (1) speaking with one mouth, or good communication; (2) being perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgment; and (3) having one master, which is Christ, rather than dividing over other leaders. When Christians are united in this way with one voice, one mindset, and one lord, it allows for true fellowship as desired by God. The Tower of Babel story shows what happens when unity is lacking - the people had two of these three elements right but replaced God as their master
Pastor George Matthews is ordained, licensed and has pastored churches in the Pentecostal and Baptist denominations. He is a Senior Pastor at New Life Interfaith Ministries, Inc.
This document discusses the five acts of New Testament worship, focusing on the Lord's Supper. It explains that when partaking of communion, Christians look backwards to Jesus' death on the cross, forwards to his second coming, inwards in self-examination, and outwards in proclaiming his death to others. Christians are also to look upwards, remembering that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Jesus' command and exists to honor him. Partaking of communion rightly involves remembering Jesus' sacrifice, awaiting his return, discerning one's own heart, and sharing the gospel through this ritual.
This document discusses the importance of giving according to biblical principles. It begins by examining passages that instruct believers to trust in God and honor Him with their possessions. It then looks at what Jesus said about supporting the weak and how it is more blessed to give than receive. The document outlines that giving involves our attitude, appetite, and appearance. It then explores how we can give of our time, talents, and treasures to God rather than accumulating wealth. The overall message is that we should generously give back to God from all that He has already given us.
The document discusses building one's spiritual house either wisely on a rock foundation like Jesus, or foolishly on a sandy foundation.
It notes two pairs from Matthew 7:24-27 - the wise/foolish men who heard but one obeyed Jesus' words, and the houses one built on a rock and one on sand. Obedience and doing God's word is emphasized.
The conclusion encourages examining one's foundation, responding to God's word through obedience, and ensuring one's spiritual house can withstand life's storms by making Jesus the foundation through faith.

The U-Night ministry at The Rock Church was started in 2015 to help church members connect with each other and foster fellowship. Events are held every few months where 50-60 randomly selected church members can enjoy food, testimonies, and get-to-know you activities. The goal is to help people value one another, learn about backgrounds and ministries, and create connections across ages and groups. Events end with an activity where prayer requests are written on paper airplanes and launched to be prayed for. The ministry aims to continue bringing members together and increasing awareness of the opportunities to strengthen relationships within the large church community.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

KCNJ, located in the heart of New Jersey provides a balanced organization that not only
caters to a mass congregation of over 5000, but also to the greater NJ community at large.
Over the past few years, Pastor Dharius Daniels a prolific speaker, entrepreneur and visionary

Some of their notable mentions in their short history since opening in 2005 include:

The mission of this ministry is to advance the agenda of God’s Kingdom through bringing in,
breaking free, and building up.

expansion has reached both members and the community at large impacting Financial
Fitness, Health and Wholeness, Kingdom Care and a number of others which has become the
cornerstone of KCNJ. All of these auxiliaries provide meaningful and relevant ministry to DHARIUS
address the diverse needs of the congregation and the community. As a result, Kingdom
Church is a vibrant and growing ministry that is “Breathtaking.” At Kingdom Church, Pastor
DANIELS
Daniels is equipping his congregation to make a meaningful impact within and beyond the
walls of the church.
Pastor Daniels is the president and founder of the Kingdom Community Development
Corporation (CDC). Through Kingdom CDC, he built an institution that directly addresses
areas such as literacy, poverty and poor health. Some of the foundation programs include,
“The Read, Write and Run” program which is designed to build up the community by tearing
down barriers concerning adult illiteracy and the “Dollars and Sense” program focuses on
teaching teens how to become economically informed and financially savvy so that they can
be wise managers over their material resources. Similarly, The Kingdom CDC also has a
solid record of increasing community political participation through its voter registration
campaign. In 2008, the CDC has carried out its first back to school event where almost one
thousand backpacks filled with school supplies have been provided to children in the
community along with games, activities and entertainment. Kingdom CDC is still on the
move and has an initiative that is being developed to address adults through a multifaceted
professional development program
Pastor Daniels has developed a Breath Taking Ministry concept that describes the standard of
excellence at Kingdom Church: a standard of excellence that is apparent in his commitment
to not only ministry and community, but also education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
from Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and a Master of Divinity degree from
Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate of
Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
As a result of his commitment to Kingdom work, he has played an intricate role in assisting
pastors in planting churches and duplicating his initiatives over the past five years. Because
of the multitude of pastors seeking insight and guidance, he has focused his leadership and
passion towards and developing the Kingdom Mentorship Network (KMN) which will serve
other leaders as they pursue their calling. His vision for the KMN is to be a bridge from
“Kingdom desire to Kingdom integration,” that will further equipped Kingdom minded
leaders with the tools needed to enhance every aspect of life and ministry.
He is married to Shameka Daniels, and they are the proud parents of two sons Dharius Seth
and Gabriel Micah Daniels. He has dedicated his life to the work of ministry, which is
inseparable from community involvement and development. “The way you change a
community is to change the people in it.” This is the philosophy of Dharius Daniels, but
more importantly it is a principle by which his life is guided.

be ready to turn yourself in. You are WANTED.
LOVE-A-LUTION - CD CASE
1 John 4: 8 tells us that “God is Love,” and his love is very different from human love. His
love is unconditional, unrestrained, and uninhibited. It is not based on feelings or emotions
and does not change from one moment to the next. He doesn’t love us because we are
loveable or because we always make him feel good. He loves us because he is love, and his
expectation and call is that we be conduits of that same love to others. In this life changing
sermon series, Pastor Dharius Daniels teaches that revolutions always start with
revelations. Once we get the revelation that of how much God loves us, we can’t help but
15. express that love in our dealing with others. As Christians this should be our brand, and by
the end of this sermon series, you will join the movement and become a part of this Love-A-
Lution!
KISS OF DEATH
In this series Pastor Daniels teaches that all of us will experience the same kiss of betrayal
that Jesus did. If we don't manage this reality in a healthy and holy way we can end up bitter
and burned by the hurt others have caused us. This teaching will equip you with tools you
need to find forgiveness and new life after you have received the kiss of death!
STORMS, THORNS AND CROSSES
In this inspiring series Pastor Daniels teaches key principles to help us manage the
challenging times in life. In this 3 part teaching you will learn that not all challenges are the
same; some are storms that are seasonal situations created by our own decisions; others are
thorns that are working for our spiritual benefit, and others are crosses that we all must carry
for the Kingdom's sake. In this perspective altering teaching you will learn to distinguish
between the three and learn how to respond in each of them.
