1. Dear Parents:
We will be having our end of the year party on Thursday, June

7 , starting at 12:00. We will be having a “fiesta theme” for our
party. Students will get to wear their tie dye shirts to school on this
day. Below is a tentative schedule for the day:
• 12:00-12:30 Author’s Tea: Students will be sharing their
published writing. It is nice for each student to have
someone to share with whether it is a parent,
grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc.
• 12:30-1:00 Taco/Nacho Bar: We will be eating lunch in
our classroom.
• 1:00 -1:20 Recess
• 1:30-2:15 Activities: We will be doing activities related
to our “fiesta theme.”
• 2:15-3:00 Ice Cream Sundae Bar and Surprise:
Students will get to make their own ice cream sundae.
When they have finished I have a surprise to give to the
class 
• 3:00 Extra Recess/Movie: We will end the day with an
extra recess or movie depending on the weather.

2. I have attached a donation list to this note. Please send the

bottom portion back to school by Wednesday May 30 . If you are
able to donate the item asked, I will send home another reminder
the week of the party. Please send in the donation by Wednesday,

June 6 . This way I can organize everything the night before the
party.
All parents are welcome to join us at 12:00 starting with the
Author’s Tea. Everyone is more than welcome to stay as little or as
long as they would like 
On Friday before summer break we will be cleaning the room
