This document contains a survey to help determine political alignment with the Democratic or Republican parties in the United States. It consists of 18 yes or no questions on issues like military spending, abortion, the economy, civil liberties, and the environment. For odd numbered questions, respondents should circle R if they answered yes, and for even questions circle D if they answered yes. Tallying the R's and D's indicates whether one's views are more in line with modern Republicans or Democrats, or if they are independent.

have the right to hunt and defend themselves.

weapons usually used by the military should not be allowed for civilians.

jobs, but too many pollution laws can harm businesses. Companies should have
their own pollution rules.

even if it adds cost to doing business.
For each ODD numbered question, circle an R if you marked yes.
For each EVEN numbered question, circle a D if you marked yes.
If you have more R’s you match up better with modern Republicans. If you have more D’s you
match up better with modern Democrats. If you have a an even amount, you are more like an
independent (someone without a party).
