3. What Motivates Me?
I can help
bring change
for the better
I can vote for
what I believe
in without bias
I get to make
these
decisions on
my own
I want change
that is
impactful and
meaningful
My vote will
matter
because not
many people
register to
vote
4. What I Learned
• One surprising fact that I learned about
the Federal Government was that the
Spoils system, implemented by Andrew
Jackson, still influences the Federal
Government today
• Another surprising fact hat I learned
about the Federal Government was that
the Federal Government has the power
to issue Patents for inventions
• The seemingly endless Government
positions that seem unimportant but are
vital to the success of the Federal
Government
• I would like to know more about how the
courts decide what is an unconstitutional
power they possess and how they used
it/got rid of it
5. Future Political Issues
A political issue that I believe is important for
future generations to consider is the minimum
wage gap. It is an important issue to consider
because politicians use the idea of raising
minimum wage to increase popularity.
However, the economics behind raising the
minimum wage in the U.S. shows that it
negatively impacts our economy as it creates
further inflation of the U.S. Dollar.
6. Most Important
Amendment
Personally, I believe that the most
important Amendment out of the 27
Amendments is the 1st Amendment.
Having the right of freedom of speech is
very often a right American take for
granted. The government could easily
implement censorship of citizens as seen
with other foreign countries but the
freedom to speak is one that is
irreplicable.
7. Lessons From Federal
Government
The main and most important lesson that I learned from
taking Federal Government is that voting is important
and arguably a United States Citizens most important
right. The right to vote gives you the ultimate freedom
that millions neglect to use. The second lesson I learned
from taking Federal Government is balance is key not
only for the government to function with its three
separate branches but balancing things in life like work,
school, and hobbies.
