Parker Mann is a performer, composer and educator
primarily in the Phoenix music scene but has performed
in venues across the United States. He strives for
creativity and sincerity in all aspects of his work. Though
he is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in piano, guitar and trumpet among others, his primary performance
medium is drum set, concert percussion, hand drums and marimba.

Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp- Various Musical Roles, including leading ensembles as well as private lesson work
and general musical interaction with thousands of children and young adults age 8-19. 2014-2015
Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Music Educator. Responsibilities including planning and conducting classes in
piano, drum set, classical percussion, hand drums, voice and music theory and additionally teaching private
lessons for percussion, drum set, piano and guitar. 2014-2015
Imagine Schools, Tempe, Director of Imagine Schools African Drum Ensemble. Responsibilities include giving
students a solid understanding of African music from an ethnomusicology standpoint, leading the ensemble in
preparation of music, teaching proper hand drum technique and preparing each class. 2015

explore the playing techniques, styles and rhythms associated with congas, bongos, djembe, and doumbek though
