Matthew Murdock is a professor of music at Trevecca Nazarene University. He has over 20 years of experience teaching instrumental music at the K-12 and university levels. His educational background includes a DMA in trumpet performance from Ball State University and MM from Bowling Green State University. At Trevecca, he teaches courses in jazz improvisation, history, and private lessons, and directs the wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, and combos.
