Wonders
Oakland County Parks and Recreation’s
waterparks are award-winning in aquatic
safety and a favorite destination for
families who love to splash and play.
Both waterparks are open 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Monday–Friday and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. on
weekends and holidays. Enjoy smoke-
and alcohol-free facilities, free parking,
concessions, lounge chairs, tubes and
water transfer chairs for individuals
with disabilities. Bring a picnic (no glass
permitted) or reserve a shelter for a group.

Red Oaks Waterpark
Red Oaks Waterpark in Madison Heights
offers “SplashTown” featuring Soak Station
(interactive water playground), River Ride
(tube river ride) and Spray `n Play (spray
zone for little splashers). The wave-action
pool and triple waterslide serves up hours
of fun!
Leave Unfamiliar Animals Alone
• Don’t approach, handle or feed wild or unfamiliar animals
even if they appear friendly.
• If bitten by a wild or unknown animal, wash the affected area immediately
and seek medical attention. Contact your local animal control office.
• Remind children to inform an adult if they see a sick or injured animal
and DO NOT TOUCH.
• Keep your pets under direct supervision so they do not come in contact
with wild animals.
• Keep your pets vaccinated!
This includes indoor pets, dogs, cats, ferrets, and livestock.
• Don’t leave pet food out where wild animals can get it.
• Never adopt or bring wild animals into your home.
