5 Park City Powder Cats
& Heli-Skiing
Stake your claim
in the wilderness!
Heli-skiing takes the advanced skier and
snowboarder to new heights --- literally!
The Park City area mountains receive hundreds
of inches of fresh snow each year; but when the
powder in the ski resorts is skied out, there are
still acres of virgin powder snow that has never
been touched in the higher mountain ranges.
Wouldn’t you love to be the first to set down
fresh tracks? Heli-sking and snow-cat skiing
companies will take you into these mountain
areas, where you can ski and board in virgin
snow for a whole week! Cut through deep, fluffy,
Utah powder --- and once you catch your breath,
do it again! Don’t forget to take pictures. No one
will ever believe you.

11. Skiing with Children – Safety First!
Make sure your child wears a neck gator or has
one in his or her pocket at all times. The weather
can change rapidly in the mountains and a neck
gator can make the difference between little cold
faces and happy warm ones. Scarves are not recom-
mended: they are dangerous and can catch on ski
lifts and other objects.
