It is known for landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the largest monument in the city built by Gustave Eiffel, and the Louvre museum which was formerly a royal residence and now contains famous works like the Mona Lisa. The underground metro system is also very popular among Parisians, with each station named after a famous French figure and an average of 19,000 daily journeys.

borough of Beauborg is one
the most modern monument
of Paris. It has a library,
cinema, theatre... As well as
exposition of modern art and
certain museums.
