Joel is rocking in the corner of his house, mumbling that he has let someone down and is sorry. When he sees Bonnie at the doorway, his eyes light up but she runs away. Joel stumbles after her into the woods, screaming her name. He reaches a clearing where he only finds a noose and, looking confused and guilty, slowly puts the noose around his neck. In the distance, Bonnie laughs.

INT/HOUSE/DAY
JOEL; rocking in the corner, mumbling.
JOEL
I’ve let you down, I’m sorry (whisper on repeat)
JOEL hears a shuffle. Looks up sharply. BONNIE is stood in the doorway. His eyes light up.
JOEL
(Whispers) Bonnie
BONNIE turns around and runs away. JOEL gets up and follows her (stumbling).
EXT/WOODS/DAY
JOEL exits the building, screaming her name.
JOEL
Bonnie!
BONNIE runs towards and into the woods. JOEL following behind.
EXT/CLEARING/DAY
JOEL reaches a clearing and sees only a noose. Looking confused and guilty JOEL slowly
walks up the blocks to the noose. JOEL puts the noose slowly around his neck. Screen fades
out.
BONNIE
Laughs
