The students in Room 6 made paper by ripping up paper into pieces, soaking it in buckets of water mixed with different colors, and mashing and stirring it with baseball bats. After letting it soak overnight, they drained the paper pulp into frames, pressed out excess water with sponges, and flattened the paper with rolling pins to produce finished sheets of handmade, recycled paper in various colors. The teachers and parents helped guide the students through the papermaking process.
