Past Tense
1. Simple Past: V2
- Usage: Completed past action
- Example: He visited Paris last year.
2. Past Continuous: was/were + V1+ing
- Usage: Ongoing action in the past
- Example: They were watching TV.
3. Past Perfect: had + V3
- Usage: Action completed before another past action
- Example: She had left before I arrived.
4. Past Perfect Continuous: had been + V1+ing
- Usage: Action ongoing before another past event
- Example: I had been working there for five years.
Future Tense
1. Simple Future: will/shall + V1
- Usage: Future action or decision
- Example: I will call you tomorrow.
2. Future Continuous: will/shall be + V1+ing
- Usage: Action in progress in the future
- Example: He will be sleeping at 10 PM.
3. Future Perfect: will/shall have + V3
- Usage: Action completed before a future time
- Example: She will have graduated by May.
4. Future Perfect Continuous: will/shall have been + V1+ing
- Usage: Action ongoing till a point in the future
- Example: He will have been teaching for 10 years.
