The core group of leaders have been through training and will actively look for new leaders in the congregation. They will speak about the program to the various groups and committees in the congregation The core group will contact each board member over the next 2-3 weeks to invite them to participate in One-on-One meetings (30 minutes). This is the building block of the relational culture. The core team will also seek to have One-on-One meetings with other key people in the congregation who can have a positive impact on the program. The core group and others who are interested will conduct House Meetings, a meeting of 6-7 congregation members to discuss issues that impact them. The goal will be 10 house meetings by June. Founding Meeting Information gathered at the house meetings will be collected and brought by representatives to the founding meeting to be integrated into the selection of actionable issues. The founding meeting includes representatives from churches and synagogues across Southwestern Connecticut. This is set to occur in the fall.
