1. The second concert event to be staged features GANGS :
Formed in July 2012, Tallaght band GANGS have been on the rise non-stop since their humble
beginnings that short time ago. Gigging actively since their inception, the band's first big step up
came via a supporting slot for Palma Violets in Bruxelles. Since then the band have been non-stop
with back-to-back appearances on Other Voices in both Dingle and N.Ireland’s maiden city. Having
sold out many of Dublin’s most prestigious venues their latest achievement was their invitation to
headline the famous ‘Ones To Watch’ festival in The Village, Dublin. GANGS have been recently
nominated as Most Promising Irish Act 2014 by Hot Press Magazine.
We at Retrospectivepromotions have attained GANG’s services exclusively for Northern Ireland as
part of their forthcoming UK and Ireland tour, being their choice of event management and
promotion group over more long established and well known companies.
In addition to GANGS, we are proud to announce that we have also acquired the performance
services of The Universal for this event. As sharp musically as they are in attire, Liverpool quartet The
Universal apply timeless values of upbeat melodic British songwriting to a sharp-dressed model.
With their passionate, driving musical vision, an acute fashion-sense and lead by singer and manager
Terry Shaughnessy's motto of 'musician minus ego plus fire', The Universal are known for their hard
work and energetic live shows.
