The document discusses what truly measures the strength of a church. It argues that outward factors like buildings, programs, and committees are not accurate measures. Instead, a church's strength is better measured by how well it functions according to biblical metaphors: as a body where members use their gifts; a family that loves one another; a temple that praises God; a kingdom submitted to Christ; and a pure bride of Christ. True strength comes from inwardly living up to how the bible describes the church, not superficial outward signs alone.
