Critical Analysis
 During my internship course in Bismillah Textiles Limited, I found this
organization as among one of the leading Textile related organization in
Faisalabad region. As an internee, I enjoyed working there and my stay
there was nothing but a wonderful and educational experience. BTL has a
team of very cooperative staff which helped me at every point by every
possible means. I worked there in very congenial and supportive
environment. The staff over there always had more than two relevant
answers to every questions being asked to them. According to its financial
statements and revenue generated by it, this organization is on a very swift
path of progress. It offers very good package of salary and benefits to its
employees. Management is always trying to regulate a system for
promotions. It has unlimited offers for its employees in the areas of
economic and personal behavioral development.
SWOT Analysis of the Organization
SWOT ANALYSIS OF BISMILLAH TEXTILES LTD
Strength
1. Vertical setup: Bismillah Textiles Limited owns
machineries of its own to produce fabric, process
it, cut it, stitch it and then straight to packing.
Packed fabric is then shipped to the customers.
2. In house power generation: Bismillah Textiles
Limited has its own power generation sources
which provide facility of zero shortage energy to
all departments of premises.
3. Skilled manpower: BTL have set of skilled and
work oriented labor force which is always up to
the mark and up to the task.
4. Environmental sustainability certifications:
BTL have certifications by QMS: ISO 9001-2015
(Quality Management System), EMS:ISO 1401-
2015 (environment Management system), Okeo
tex, and T-C PAT.
5. Export Oriented Organization: Bismillah
Textiles Limited export almost all of its products
in UK, USA and European countries
Weakness
1. Training and Orientation: There is not enough
budget allocated to training and Orientation
which is causing many barriers.
2. Research and Development: There isn’t a
dedicated department for research and
development which is a major setback.
3. Career Planning: Below Average career
planning is causing potency among workers
which is also causing a negative impact.
4. E-Marketing: In the times of digital media and
marketing sources, BTL is far behind in the field
of E-Marketing which is causing serious
impediment to the production and demand.
Opportunities
1. Installation of Garments Unit: Installation
of new garment unit is being implemented
which straightaway will provide job
opportunities to humanly bodies.
2. Digital marketing: Digital Marketing will
allow BTL to reach out to many other
foreign customers which will obviously be
simultaneously beneficial for the
organization and the country.
1. New Market development: BTL is not
only reaching out to the foreign customers,
but to local customers too which provides
strength to the local market and also
flourishes the low funded home textile
sector.
1. Online Portal: Online Portal will provide
customers or clients a complete insight and
visibility. This will help a lot to establish a
collaboration among the customers and
company which will simultaneously create
a healthy relation among both.
Threats
1. Raw material availability: Because of the high
demand, the shortage of raw material is causing a barrier
in the production.
2. Global changing: Environmental change is yet another
challenge faced by the BTL. Cotton productivity is
predicted to be affected by rising temperatures, drought,
restricted freshwater and erratic rain patterns in present
cotton-growing locations around the world. This will
have ramifications not only for local economies, but also
for global supply systems.
3. Political Instability: Due to instable economic
condition of the country, the investments are not
adequate which is causing difficulties.
4. Competitors: The competitors are expanding their
premises and the marathon for success is now not that
easy as it used to be. To compete with your continuously
progressing competitors is tough and challenging.
5. Effects of Pandemic: Just like any other organization
BTL has also took a huge blow due to COVID-19 and
still coping with convulsion caused by it. BTL had to
shut down the production or either ran production with
half strength (according to SOPs) which effected the
production a lot.
Conclusion
This textile organization is based on family business and its vision extends beyond
financial quarters. During my stay in BTL, I found this organization to be an exceptional
learning platform a beginner could ever have. This organization may have many flaws
but most of them got overshadowed by the exceptional standards and work ethics. This
esteemed organization was rewarded as the “Most Sustainable Textile Manufacturer
2020-Asia” in Global Business Awards by Corporate Vision. They are enhancing their
skills by providing career development and skills development trainings to their new and
existing staff. Their motto is to invest in modern tools and correct allocation of resources
will make them to achieve their objectives soon. As the CEO himself says: “Our mission
is to build a strong company through quality and diversified products. By conducting
ourselves in a professional and courteous manner and maintaining our high values of
integrity. We take full pride in the satisfaction of our customers through efficient service
and response. In order to protect our reputation and credibility, we ask ourselves a
question: Is this the way I would like my suppliers to deal with me?”
Recommendations
In my humble opinion and according to my observations, there are statements
that I would like to recommend to the BTL management that could be beneficiary
if implemented.
• BTL should educate their HR which will cause ease in the orientation of
employees, HR staff should be well aware of all the policies being
implemented.
• BTL should focus on research & development and should allocate it a
separate department and hire a R&D Manager which will bring innovation.
• BTL should adapt itself according to the environmental changes faced by the
community.
• BTL has been in the textile sector since 1989, but the department of e-
marketing is still lacking. E-Marketing is essential in this fast paced world and
during this global pandemic, E-Marketing plays an important role in the
development of any organization.
Thank You

As an internee, I enjoyed working there and my stay there was nothing but a wonderful and educational experience. BTL has a team of very cooperative staff which helped me at every point by every possible means. I worked there in very congenial and supportive environment. The staff over there always had more than two relevant answers to every questions being asked to them. According to its financial statements and revenue generated by it, this organization is on a very swift path of progress. It offers very good package of salary and benefits to its employees. Management is always trying to regulate a system for promotions. It has unlimited offers for its employees in the areas of economic and personal behavioral development.

Packed fabric is then shipped to the customers. 2. In house power generation: Bismillah Textiles Limited has its own power generation sources which provide facility of zero shortage energy to all departments of premises. 3. Skilled manpower: BTL have set of skilled and work oriented labor force which is always up to the mark and up to the task. 4. Research and Development: There isn’t a dedicated department for research and development which is a major setback. 3. Career Planning: Below Average career planning is causing potency among workers which is also causing a negative impact. 4. E-Marketing: In the times of digital media and marketing sources, BTL is far behind in the field of E-Marketing which is causing serious impediment to the production and demand.
  • 12. Opportunities 1. Installation of Garments Unit: Installation of new garment unit is being implemented which straightaway will provide job opportunities to humanly bodies. 2. Digital marketing: Digital Marketing will allow BTL to reach out to many other foreign customers which will obviously be simultaneously beneficial for the organization and the country. 1. New Market development: BTL is not only reaching out to the foreign customers, but to local customers too which provides strength to the local market and also flourishes the low funded home textile sector. 1. Online Portal: Online Portal will provide customers or clients a complete insight and visibility. This will help a lot to establish a collaboration among the customers and company which will simultaneously create a healthy relation among both. Threats 1. Raw material availability: Because of the high demand, the shortage of raw material is causing a barrier in the production. 2. Global changing: Environmental change is yet another challenge faced by the BTL. Cotton productivity is predicted to be affected by rising temperatures, drought, restricted freshwater and erratic rain patterns in present cotton-growing locations around the world. This will have ramifications not only for local economies, but also for global supply systems. 3. Political Instability: Due to instable economic condition of the country, the investments are not adequate which is causing difficulties. 4. Competitors: The competitors are expanding their premises and the marathon for success is now not that easy as it used to be. To compete with your continuously progressing competitors is tough and challenging. 5. Effects of Pandemic: Just like any other organization BTL has also took a huge blow due to COVID-19 and still coping with convulsion caused by it. BTL had to shut down the production or either ran production with half strength (according to SOPs) which effected the production a lot.
  • 13. Conclusion This textile organization is based on family business and its vision extends beyond financial quarters. During my stay in BTL, I found this organization to be an exceptional learning platform a beginner could ever have. This organization may have many flaws but most of them got overshadowed by the exceptional standards and work ethics. This esteemed organization was rewarded as the “Most Sustainable Textile Manufacturer 2020-Asia” in Global Business Awards by Corporate Vision. They are enhancing their skills by providing career development and skills development trainings to their new and existing staff. Their motto is to invest in modern tools and correct allocation of resources will make them to achieve their objectives soon. As the CEO himself says: “Our mission is to build a strong company through quality and diversified products. By conducting ourselves in a professional and courteous manner and maintaining our high values of integrity. We take full pride in the satisfaction of our customers through efficient service and response. In order to protect our reputation and credibility, we ask ourselves a question: Is this the way I would like my suppliers to deal with me?”
  • 14. Recommendations In my humble opinion and according to my observations, there are statements that I would like to recommend to the BTL management that could be beneficiary if implemented. • BTL should educate their HR which will cause ease in the orientation of employees, HR staff should be well aware of all the policies being implemented. • BTL should focus on research & development and should allocate it a separate department and hire a R&D Manager which will bring innovation. • BTL should adapt itself according to the environmental changes faced by the community. • BTL has been in the textile sector since 1989, but the department of e- marketing is still lacking. E-Marketing is essential in this fast paced world and during this global pandemic, E-Marketing plays an important role in the development of any organization.
