Pablo Picasso was a famous Spanish painter and sculptor who created the Cubism style of art. Some of his most famous paintings include The Death of Casagemas, Acrobat Balloon, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Portrait of Olga in an Armchair, and Young Girl Before a Mirror. His painting Guernica, which depicts the bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War, was commissioned by the Spanish Republic to draw attention to their cause during the war and is now housed in the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.
