Transition from ARMM to the
Bangsamoro
The Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA)
Duration of the transition:
Upon ratification of the BBL until the qualification of
the Chief Minister under the first (regular)
Bangsamoro Parliament [SB 2408, Art. XVI, Sec. 1
and 11]
Key Functions: “The BTA shall be the interim
government or governing body in the Bangsamoro
during the transition”
Ensure the smooth transition from ARMM to the
Bangsamoro
Provide basic service, so that there is no vacuum in
governance during the transition
