So important is eye contact that its avoidance almost always triggers a “what's” wrong?” response. You also have longer periods of silence than you do with friends. In addition, you display affiliative cues( signs that show you love the other person), including head nods, gestures, and forward leaning. And you give Duchenne smiles- smiles that are beyond voluntary control and that signal genuine joy. These smiles give you crow's- feet around the eyes, raise up your cheeks, and puff up the lower eyelids.
4 You grow more aware not only of your loved one but also of your own physical self. Your muscle tone is heightened, for example. When you're in love you engage in preening gestures, especially immediately prior to meeting your love, and you position your body attractively- stomach pulled in, shoulders square, legs arranged in appropriate masculine or feminine positions. The film, ‘cloudy with a chance of meatballs’ directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord in 2009 compares and contrasts in multiple ways with the book produced and directed by Simon and Schuster in 1982 under the same name. The aspects of comparison and contrast are attached to settings, characters and plot events. However, the resolutions attached to both the movie and the book has also created a framework for making comparisons. The authors have applied specific themes that create the difference in the two works despite the commonality in the name. However, the film captures a fictional island called Swallow Falls. The island relies on sardines from the Atlantic Ocean to support its economy. Flint, who is considered one of the inventors finds it difficult to build a machine that would solve the situation and is termed as a failed inventor. Declining Majority of Online Adults Say the Internet Has
Been Good for Society
Americans tend to view the impact of the
internet and other digital technologies on their
own lives in largely positive ways, Pew Research
Center surveys have shown over the years. A
survey of U.S. adults conducted in January
2018 finds continuing evidence of this trend,
with the vast majority of internet users (88%)
saying the internet has, on balance, been a
mostly good thing for them personally.
But even as they view the internet’s personal
impact in a positive light, Americans have
grown somewhat more ambivalent about the
impact of digital connectivity on society as a
whole. A sizable majority of online adults (70%)
continue to believe the internet has been a good
thing for society. Yet the share of online adults
saying this has declined by a modest but still
significant 6 percentage points since early 2014,
when the Center first asked the question. This is
balanced by a corresponding increase (from 8%
to 14%) in the share of online adults who say
the internet’s societal impact is a mix of good
and bad. Meanwhile, the share saying the
internet has been a mostly bad thing for society
is largely unchanged over that time: 15% said
this in 2014, and 14% say so today.
This shift in opinion regarding the ultimate social impact of the internet is particularly stark
among older Americans, despite the fact that older adults have been especially rapid adopters of
consumer technologies such as social media and smartphones in recent years. Today 64% of online
adults ages 65 and older say the internet has been a mostly good thing for society. That represents

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Film & Book
The film, ‘cloudy with a chance of meatballs’ directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord in 2009 compares and contrasts in multiple ways with the book produced and directed by Simon and Schuster in 1982 under the same name. The aspects of comparison and contrast are attached to settings, characters and plot events. However, the resolutions attached to both the movie and the book has also created a framework for making comparisons. The authors have applied specific themes that create the difference in the two works despite the commonality in the name. This essay gives an elaborate comparison and contrast into the film and the book and how various tools have been used by the directors to build their work.
Both the book and film have unique and captivating settings. However, the exhibit different settings. In the book, the story, the grandfather and the family live in Chewandswallow, an old odd town. The magical story starts in the kitchen, the proceeds to the children’s bedroom where a grandfather is pictured telling a narration related to bedtime (Barret nd). However, the film captures a fictional island called Swallow Falls. The island relies on sardines from the Atlantic Ocean to support its economy. The reduction in number of sardines has subjected the island to a food crisis and there is need to develop an invention to manage the situation (Miller & Lord nd). Flint, who is considered one of the inventors finds it difficult to build a machine that would solve the situation and is termed as a failed inventor. Flint Lockwood who lives on the island is pictured as a wannabe scientist.
The book has no main character while the film captures Flint Lockwood as the main character. Throughout the novel, the story shifts contextually while the film is consistent with entitling the main character various roles irrespective of the context. The book does not fully introduce the characters while the film introduces its characters throughout the storyli.

Declining Majority of Online Adults Say the Internet Has
Been Good for Society
Americans tend to view the impact of the
internet and other digital technologies on their
own lives in largely positive ways, Pew Research
Center surveys have shown over the years. A
survey of U.S. adults conducted in January
2018 finds continuing evidence of this trend,
with the vast majority of internet users (88%)
saying the internet has, on balance, been a
mostly good thing for them personally.
But even as they view the internet’s personal
impact in a positive light, Americans have
grown somewhat more ambivalent about the
impact of digital connectivity on society as a
whole. A sizable majority of online adults (70%)
continue to believe the internet has been a good
thing for society. Yet the share of online adults
saying this has declined by a modest but still
significant 6 percentage points since early 2014,
when the Center first asked the question. This is
balanced by a corresponding increase (from 8%
to 14%) in the share of online adults who say
the internet’s societal impact is a mix of good
and bad. Meanwhile, the share saying the
internet has been a mostly bad thing for society
is largely unchanged over that time: 15% said
this in 2014, and 14% say so today.
This shift in opinion regarding the ultimate social impact of the internet is particularly stark
among older Americans, despite the fact that older adults have been especially rapid adopters of
consumer technologies such as social media and smartphones in recent years. Today 64% of online
adults ages 65 and older say the internet has been a mostly good thing for society. That represents
