The document discusses the roles and responsibilities of parents, children, and the church in guiding children's spiritual development. It uses examples from the Bible of Noah and Hannah who were intentional in their faith and in preparing their families spiritually. The document encourages parents to have spiritual goals for their children, love their children's souls, teach them about God, and prepare them for living with faith despite ridicule, rather than outsourcing their spiritual development. It also discusses responsibilities of children to take their faith seriously and of the church to support families.
God wants us all to have a Blessed Life. As a man who has lived a full and adventurous life, I share that Jesus' teachings on how to acquire a Blessed Life are true.

Many of us remember losing our children or parents in a crowd, or moment of forgetfulness. Thankfully, our heavenly Father never overlooks us or leaves us behind!

The music/Hymn "Wonder Words of Life" (Sing them over again to me wonder word of life,..... teach me faith and duty beautiful words of life.....) is dear to me. I used to play the organ and assembled a group of my fellow students in High School, St, Therese High School (Presentation Convent), Delhi, India and organized the Morning Assembly Prayer of the school from my class (9th Std).
The music was composed by Philip B. Bliss in 1874. The complete hymn (words & music) can be viewed and downloaded from the http://www.digitalhymnal.org/dhymn.cfm?hymnNumber=286
Zechariah teaches us that submission is not easy. At times God calls us to believe in the “unbelievable” and do the “undoable.” Doubt is our typical reaction. In this encounter, the archangel Gabriel delivers God’s prophecy concerning the birth of Zechariah’s son, John the Baptist. But Zechariah must be schooled in submission, just like us! He reminds us not to give up on those people who fail at first, because God doesn’t! The Bible is filled with Zechariah’s who get it right the second time around.

Parents are the first and foremost teachers of the faith in any religion. Yet some parents struggle with passing on the faith effectively to their children. This presentation discusses the foundation of parents as first teachers of the faith, but extends the discussion to include ways the faith community can respond to support parents in that role of first teachers of the faith.

One of my bible stories is the story of Noah and the Ark. Just thinking about construction and all the animals just make it something that kids would want to learn about.
The hebrew writer tells us that noah prepared and ark for the salvation of his family.
The greatest question for parents!!! Is have you saved your children yet!

What is the goal for our children in this church.
Loving “one another” is truly loving one another’s souls. We have so many children here, what are we willing to do to show them how much we truly love them? And show the concern for their souls

Congregationally-Paul tells us that the older are to teach the younger, and this is not just in Bible class. We need to take opportunities for our older people to minister to our children.
They are not to be separated from each other. M.Dvries Family based youth ministry.
The youth are to always be a part of the church, not to be a separate entityStats say that kids need a real realationship with 8 people who are not their parents. (those that don’t have to love them)
This is where is gets really tough. The TRUE responsibility of teaching young people is not the youth minister… IT IS THE PARENTS!!
