Teaching philosophy to teach all students
1. The document describes the author's experience teaching in various schools in China and Canada. As a teacher in China, the author realized they were only serving elite students from high socioeconomic backgrounds, perpetuating social inequality.

By week's end, Tracie was assisting students and gaining their acceptance as an authority figure.

Entrance exams are extremely important and stressful for Chinese students. The author describes their experience taking the entrance exam after studying six subjects for a year under a busy schedule. With over 9 million students taking the exam in 2011, the author felt immense pressure but was determined to study hard and learn to manage the stress. After passing the exam, the author was proud to have succeeded and gained admission to university.

I had the honor of being chosen to be the Student Speaker at Southern New Hampshire University 2010 Graduation- It is 2 months later and I still receive comments and requests to see the speech. The 3-member group analyzed several arguments in favor of using positive discipline methods rather than harsh punishment. They argued that (1) all students can be reformed through positive disciplines; (2) focusing on students will make the school better; and (3) practical disciplinary methods without suspension are most effective for changing student behavior for the better. The group concluded schools should provide supportive educational environments rather than negative penalties that may cause students to reoffend.

She believes a degree from UCLA will provide valuable experience in developing professional knowledge and skills while learning about herself. Tang has leadership experience as the chairman of her school's Student Union, where she organized activities and learned time management. She also took introductory communication courses over the summer at UCLA.

My resume and references are enclosed for your review. I recently had an experience that completely changed my perspective on teaching and will forever make me a better teacher. I am used to being a student and it has been a long time since I felt like the classroom was a new world. But then decided to learn how to ballroom dance. I consider myself pretty athletic, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into when my instructor was twirling me around during my first lesson. This is the way students feel when they walk into a new classroom early in their education. They are expected to learn new rules, routines, and know how to read, write, add, and subtract. We expect so much from these tiny humans that sometimes we don’t take a step back to realize their view of school. With that being said, experiencing something out of my comfort zone will allow me to understand students from a different standpoint and motivate them to learn and excel at their highest level.
