RISE ISP Project
The RISE ISP project converts a legacy in-store process to a virtual machine in-store process. ISP (In-store process) is a
database and applications system that is used to track invoices, inventory, tags and signs creation.
• Gathered requirements, planned, designed, and reviewed test-specifications for hand-held ordering gun, ensuring
full coverage based on requirements.
• Wrote test-cases for all new enhancements and defect validation on the functionality of the ISP applications.
• Ensure that test-cases have full coverage to validate the stored procedures; database triggers are automatically
executed on related tables, and columns are updated according to design.
• Wrote SQL queries using SQL Developer and DB Visualizer to update and retrieve data from databases for
testing.

Safeway and Albertson's grocery stores merged. They compromised on a reward system that will make both Safeway and
Albertson's customers happy. The new enhanced POS system will allow customers from Safeway to continue to use their
club cards and get the reward. Albertson's and Safeway customers can choose not to use the club card and will still get
the discount provided by the store. They just won't get the reward points.
• Developed test plans for capabilities of the Point-Of-Sale system.
• Performed smoke, end-to-end, regression, integration, and functional tests.

Forterra Systems Inc. was a start-up company which made training software for government, hospitals, and corporations.
The products implemented were simulation training software for large organizations. The clients were Java-script web-
applications running in a browser. The servers were Java ran on Linux or Windows based machines.
• Manually tested the (web-based) simulation training software system following the Agile/Scrum software life cycle
process.
• Wrote test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and prepared reports for the team lead and Scrum master.
• Maintained and executed Selenium scripts for every new sprint cycle.
• Reviewed the log files in the Linux based servers.

AT&T, San Ramon, CA January, 2007 – June, 2008
RM BIS middle-ware (Developer)
AT&T is a provider of telecommunications services such as voice, video, data, and Internet in America.
One of the projects was to enhance the Java Middle-ware system to accept more clients. Another project was to accept a
telephone number from a known client, verify it, and send it to back-end. When the back-end processed the data and sent
it back to the middle-ware, the program validated the data and then forwarded the information to the client (Front-end
system).
• Designed, developed, tested, and maintained a software system that verified client information, sent it to a back-
end for processing, and then carried the response back to the client.
• Did the same for a software system that verified telephone numbers. These transactions ran inside a J2EE
system connected to several databases and networks. The development was implemented in stages with unit and
regression testing in between each stage.
• Designed, wrote and executed test plans and test cases. Checked the database by using SQL to see if the
requested telephone number existed.
• Automated test-cases to ensure full coverage.
• Removed unused data from development environment database with SQL.
• Worked closely with QA teams prioritizing and testing for defects. Provided on-call support for the middle-ware
system.
SWOT API (Developer)
Internal web-application for the team. The web-application contained information about the team, documentation, and
team activities.
• Worked with Human Resources to gather requirements.
• Designed and developed an internal website for SWOT (Single Web Ordering Tool) using JSPWiki, HTML and
CSS.
• Modified the CSS files and JSP code to provide customized web pages of user data, project information,

Internal web-application for all newly hired AT&T employees in IT department. The web-application provides all

and requirements documents as a guide, wrote JUnit test so it could also be used as a regression test.

AAA is an insurance company which sells home, car, and life insurance.
The project converted a legacy system to a J2EE system.
• As an Accenture employee, was contracted out to CSAA to test and verify content stored in Vignette to ensure it
accurately matched the content stored in the old system.
• This was done manually by clicking on the URL and scanning through each paragraph.

Cisco System is a world-wide leader in networking, transforming how people collaborate, connect and communicate.
• As an Accenture employee, was contracted out to Cisco System to manage daily code deployments and to
