The only way you can sell is by trading your pi coins with an investor (a person looking forward to hold massive amounts of pi coins before mainnet launch) .
You don't need to meet the investor directly all the trades are done with a pi vendor/merchant (a person that buys the pi coins from miners and resell it to investors)

What is a pi merchant?
A pi merchant is someone verified by pi network team and allowed to barter pi coins for goods and services.
