7.  Selecting the right subjects at this stage is
very important
 Wrong choice of subjects could lead to poor
grades and/or limited options for your child
in his/her further studies
 After the first week, subject selection will be
considered final and cannot be changed
 It is our aim to facilitate our students at this
critical stage by providing the necessary
guidance and support

 Kindly ensure your child submits all
homework regularly

9.  Students must report to College at 7:45am.
 Students must show their ID card at the gate.
 Students are not allowed to leave the Campus till they have
attended all the classes.
 Bunking is strictly forbidden.
 Students are allowed to carry mobiles. However, if used
during a class, the mobile will be confiscated and a fine of
Rs. 500 will be levied.
 It is mandatory for all students to attend College
functions.
 There is no uniform for College students. However they
are required to dress up in decent attire when in College.
 Students must maintain class discipline.
 Attendance will be strictly monitored.
 It is mandatory for all the students to appear for the class
tests/ monthly assessments and other internal
examinations.

10. We expect your active co-operation to kindly
ensure that:
 Your child attends college regularly
 You must submit a medical certificate with
application for your child in case she cannot
attend college
 At least 85% attendance is mandatory for your
child to be eligible to appear for the
examination as a LGC candidate

13.  Equivalency certificate for O level students

14.  It is equally important for parents and teachers to
be involved in a child’s academic growth
 Understanding this, the Administration
encourages parents to be regular in attending on
Parent/Teacher Conferences
 PTC’s will be held twice a year-before the MID-
Year Assessments and Final Assessments
 Any concerns regarding your child may be
brought to your attention at any time and which
you may contact the front office, which will set
up an appointment with the concerned Teacher

15.  Parents wishing to avail our transport facility
are requested to submit the names of their
children to the front office
 In the interest of safety, all classrooms will
remain locked in the morning

16.  Extra and co curricular activities are a big part of
student life in LGC
 LGC will host various competitions and promote
its students at national and international level
 Our Debating club has proven popular with
parents and students alike
 We urge parents to encourage their child to
participate in various activities as they build self
esteem and confidence, teach responsibility and
portray a well rounded student on college
applications
